Get the Sharpest Edge Everytime You use the TriAx Knife Sharpener.
Until now those who have enjoyed sharp knives have had only three choices. 1) Blade clamp devices which are cumbersome to use, with the sharp blade coming dangerously close to your finger tips and knuckles. Not only that, with only two contact points at the
2) Motor powered knife sharpeners is the second option. Some knife owners will sacrifice precision edges for the ease of a use. Even though the electric powered blade sharpener produces only mediocre edges.
3) The sharpening stone or block is the third. A lot of us grew up sharpening our blades with a simple flat stone. It takes a lot of time and practice to get just a good edge.
NOW THERE IS A NEW CHOICE! The TriAx knife sharpening instrument was developed for easy use, fast operation and precise edge angle control. The TriAx offers 1) controlled, repeatable edge angle; 2) easy, manual operation; 3) quick sharpening with no practice.
Made for commercial and consumer use, TriAx is the only patented knife sharpener which holds the blade edge angle FIXED against two stones while the blade is moved. The blade is moved in three axis; up and down, side to side, forward and back. However, by thumb pressure on the blade holder, the blade is locked in the perfect vertical position. This insures that the angle between the blade and the stones will always be the same. You can determine how much pressure you want between the stones and the blade. You can adjust the angle you want. You can stroke the blade on one side, then the other side and within 30 seconds you have a razor sharp knife.
The patent pending blade holder allows the user to simply slide the blade into the holder and with just thumb pressure, hold the blade perfectly vertical every time you use it. The blade holder also insures that you get the same angle between sharpening sessions.
The TriAx sharpener comes with flat, diamond chip stones (250-300 grit) and round ceramic stones (450-600 grit) which are easily interchangeable. The user can quickly put a razor edge on the blade with the flat diamond chip stones set at 17º and put a final hone on the edge with the round ceramic stones set at 22º.
top of the blade, it's difficult to set up the exact same angle on both sides of the blade. You might get a 19º angle on one side and 15º angle on the other side. It's almost impossible to return to the exact same angle between sharpening sessions.
